FAQ: What can I recycle

PAR-Recycle Works, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, is a social enterprise offering environmentally responsible recycling services while providing life-changing workforce training to formerly incarcerated individuals.
We collect any small and medium-sized items with a plug or wire.
No charge except for items listed below. (See price list)

Items we collect for free include:

• Computers/Laptops*, Tablets, All Phone Types, Servers (with or without Chargers)
• Computer/Networking Components/Peripherals, such as Printers, Mice, Keyboards, Cables,
  Computer Batteries, Networking Equipment, Docking Stations etc. (except fee for monitor)
• AV Equipment, Radios, DVD Players, Speakers
• Gaming Equipment
• Small appliances such as Toasters, Blenders, Food Processors, Dust Busters, etc.

The following items include a cost to ensure they are properly recycled:

• CRT TVs $40-$80 (vary by size)
• Flat screen TVs $25
• CRT monitors $25
•  Flat monitors $7
•  Air conditioners $25
•  Humidifiers/ Dehumidifier/Air Purifier $25
•  Mini fridges $25
•  Microwaves $15

Hard drives/SSDs are wiped clean according to NSA standards. If you want to remove data from your
device prior to donating.
