As a non-profit e-waste recycling organization, PAR Recycleworks has been serving Philadelphia for over seven years, striving to responsibly recycle electronic waste while providing employment opportunities. This event offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment and our community.
Bring your unwanted electronics and contribute to a sustainable future. Our meticulous process ensures the proper handling of your devices. We sort them based on value, destroy data on hard drives and SSDs using electronic magnets called degaussers, and adhere to NSA standards by dismantling hard drives and drilling holes through their centers.
Accepted e-waste items include desktop computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, monitors, keyboards, mice, televisions, digital cameras, and audio equipment. However, please note that we cannot accept large appliances due to size and component value limitations.
To protect your privacy, we strongly recommend deleting data from your devices before handing them over to us. By taking this step, you can ensure the security of your personal information.
